How old should i be?

You must be 18 years old. Even with parental approval, Anko does not tattoo anyone under 18.

How much does a tattoo cost?

It all depends on the design, the size, the location of the body and if its color or black and grey. The more details a tattoo has the longer the tattoo will take to make. Location as on e.g. the ribs will take longer due to the skin being stretched a lot, and will therefore also cost more than other places on the body. A smaller tattoo is not automatically cheaper, a small but microdetailed realism work can be as expensive as a large tattoo with less details.

Can I bring a friend?

Anko is an artist who takes its time and focuses a lot on little details in his work. When there is a lot going on around him he loses his concentration. You can bring only one friend/partner/family to keep you company.

If we cannot help further we will reccomend you to seek a pharmacy and follow their recommendations.
If you have direct pain, always consult a doctor.

If the fading is minimal and is Artists fault it will be a free retouch (within a month from the day you got tattooed)

If the fading is caused by bad aftercare from the client or from an accident it will be a paid retouch.

Does it hurt?

Tattoos are better than Love,
Hurts the same but stays for the whole life.

Can i use numbing cream?

We do not recommend using numbing cream. This can make the skin more difficult to tattoo and can sometimes affect how it heals. There is often a greater level of pain experienced once it has worn off.

Can i get a tattoo when im sick?

Getting a tattoo when your immune system is not 100% is not a good idea. You need all your strength to heal the tattoo, something your body will not be able to do if it is already fighting viruses and bacteria. Not to mention the fact that it is very stupid to take the disease into the studio and risk transmitting the bacteria to others, especially your tattoo artist.

Call and re-schedule your appointment.

Is there any areas/tattoos you refuse to do?

I am not a fan of finger tattoos as they dont heal how they should.

I do not tattoo racism / homophobic tattoos.

Do you do cover-ups?

Anko mainly doesn't do cover up tattoos but dont hesitate to email him with your enquiry in the "Book" form. Anko might be intrested in your idea.

Will my tattoo change if i gain or lose weight?

Your tattoo will only ever expand or reduce at the same rate as your skin, it will not distort in shape.

Can i exercise with a new tattoo?

Exercise is fine, as long as the area is not knocked. Contact sports e.g Rugby are generally not advised until fully healed, due to the risk of knocking off scabs. swimming is not advised for at least 3 weeks.

After exercise make sure you wash the area with warm water and PH balance soap.

Is it safe to swim/sunbathe with a new tattoo?

We recommend at least 3 weeks before exposing a fresh tattoo to sun/ sea/swimming. This is due to the risk of poor healing and infection.

It is always best to wait until after a holiday before having a new tattoo.
